Hey everyone! My name is Trinity Martin and I am a first-year Chemical Engineering Major. I am from Kansas City, Kansas, and am very passionate about renewable energy and climate change. I am involved in a variety of student organizations, including being the AIChE IIT Sister Chapter Liaison, the WiSTEM Chemical Engineering representative, and the RHA Senator for SGA. I love to talk to people and learn new things, so I am very excited to share people's stories as the blog journalist for UNITE. I believe UNITE is such a necessary and amazing org to have on campus, because so many people, nowadays, lack empathy, and I believe that IIT and the world will be a much better place if more people practiced empathy in their everyday lives.
